Vision
Our work
The Norte Chico has some of the clearest skies in the world and some of the least visible communities in Chile. We work from inside that tension.
We use documentary methodology — observational, hybrid, and personal — to make films about intimate and inner journeys: the self, the body and the lives that rarely make it to the screen.

Director’s Statement
I make films because I need to understand things. Not explain them — understand them.
I’m a Chilean-Brazilian sociologist who ended up with a camera in her hand; someone who has spent a lot of time inside a body that doesn’t always “act or feel normal” and a mind that easily wanders off in space. I’m a hopeless romantic for adventure and overall a curious earthling trying to slightly grasp the mysteries of the universe with her tiny little camera. Those things are all in my work. The grief of it, but also the strange grace.
The Norte Chico taught me that the most extraordinary things happen in places no one is watching. I want to be the one who watches. My films come from the Global South — not as a label, but as a way of seeing. A place where the sky is absurdly clear and the ground is hard and dry, and where you learn to sit with questions that don’t have answers.
I’m drawn to characters who carry entire worlds inside them — quietly, without applause. I make films that I hope make you feel less alone in whatever you’re carrying.
I’m currently looking for co-production partners and financing for my triptych: Asteroide 2518, El Universo de Lolo, and Conexión Astral.
